Early Neutral Evaluation (ENE)

Early Neutral Evaluation (commonly referred to as ENE) is a confidential process in which attorneys present the dispute to a neutral evaluator with parties in attendance. Feedback is provided to the parties and their attorneys based on case presentations and a limited amount of information gathering. The neutral evaluator gives an assessment of the strengths and the weaknesses of the case. and will work with the parties toward a resolution. Social Early Neutral Evaluation (SENE) involves child-related issues such as custody and parenting time (visitation). Financial Early Neutral Evaluation (FENE) involves spousal maintenance (alimony) child support as well as the division of assets and debts and other financial matters that may be involved in the case.
